The Orillia Fish And Game Conservation Club


If you enjoy hunting, fishing and the great outdoors and are interested in preserving these traditions and promoting conservation of natural habitats, The Orillia Fish and Game Conservation Club may be of interest to you. Membership in the Club is open to any person, 19 years of age or older. We invite you to come out to a dinner meeting or a cookout to see if this is the club for you. To become a member, you must be sponsored by two club members in good standing. You must then submit a membership application form, along with your membership dues for the current year to the club Treasurer. Your Membership Application will then be processed and investigated by the club’s Executive Council. Then, barring any complications, your membership will be approved.

Benefits of Membership Your membership in the Orillia Fish and Game Conservation Club entitles you to many benefits which you and your family may enjoy. These Benefits include: • The pride of belonging to one of the most active outdoor conservation clubs in the Orillia area. • The joy of working with other members on conservation related projects that really do make a difference to the natural environment in which we live. • Included in your membership with the Orillia Fish and Game Conservation Club is a membership with the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) with all of the benefits the OFAH has to offer, such as a subscription to the Ontario Out of Doors magazine and one million dollars in outdoor liability insurance. • Access to the George Langman Sanctuary. Come out and enjoy the wildlife that inhabits the property, along with the 6 km of walking trails, that the club has developed for public use. • Access to the Orillia Fish and Game Conservation Club tree farm, a 98 acre plot of land located on Bass Lake Side Road, just south of the 9th Line of Oro-Medonte. The property includes two trout ponds, a picnic area and many acres of hardwood forest with walking trails for members to hunt, fish or just enjoy a nice family walk in a tranquil setting.
